follow up review on the so totally lame case (it fell apart)

I’m sorry but this is the most contradicting passive aggressive review I have ever seen. When materials do not work as they usually do, it is not ok to say “she made it poorly”. I’m sure she worked VERY hard on that case- especially since she custom makes her cabs. And you say that people should still buy from her while you slander her name? It’s like saying “no offense, BUT…”

I am so sick of seeing this in our decoden community. If the shop owner refunds the money- which she totally doesn’t have to do- the least you could do is take down a review that could ruin her business and even personally hurt her feeling/self-esteem. The only time I would understand a bad review is if the shop owner neglects to help you- which has happened to me a lot. She lost materials AND profit by refunding you and you still have the audacity to hurt her this way. I think this is awful.

I’m sure she didn’t mean for this to happen, and one bad case shouldn’t affect her entire business. But with a review like this you really can’t expect it not to because people are too scared and ignorant to try things for themselves after seeing someone bash it. You are affecting her and you are a very mean person for doing so. She refunded you. I can’t say that enough.

As everyone probably knows me and Bridie weren’t the best of friends but I really feel for her with this :( Remember what Jasmine Blu said about me lol? Said she “didn’t have the heart to ask me for a refund” but decided to slander my business to half of Tumblr… bad reviews are really shitty but I hope Bridie doesn’t feel too discouraged over this. I was brought to tears by what Jasmine said about me but just because one person isn’t happy it doesn’t mean that it’s the end of the world! As I know that anyone who spends money on something and doesn’t end up completely satisfied has the right to say what they like about what they bought, but I don’t think people understand how much it can affect a small business. I don’t think the case was poorly made, I think that silicone doesn’t stick well to a rubberized case and probably shouldn’t have been used. I hope that nobody else gets upset over this, and I hope that nobody is being mean to the lady in the video either! <3

I have to agree. I saw this come up in the deco den tag, and even my husband was in disbelief. If your problem is resolved - first she was being given free items, then she was completely refunded - there is no reason to make a review like this, especially with the tag “crap”??? Ridiculous. At the most, I’d say an etsy review saying, “my case kind of fell apart but I was fully refunded” would be fine. It is good that people are honest about the state of their case, but it’s also prudent to realize when being “honest” crosses the line into harsh, especially when she only mentions about 4 minutes in that she was refunded.

Also, lol, of course pieces that are glued on are going to stay better, considering that pieces aren’t glued on to begin with. I’m more impressed she found a glue that would work on silicone.
